Ionian Nannies - Summer Nanny 2024 Job Description

Summary:

  • Country: Corfu

  • Accommodation: included: shared bedroom (max 2 people) in a 3 bedroom apartment with living room kitchen + 2 bathrooms, big balconies

  • EU / UK passport holder: 

    • both

  • Recruitment window: January - April (Nannies can receieve conditional job offers, meaning training in April, May or July are options)

  • Pay: £300 per 7 day work period, for up to 40 hrs (all additional hours and babysitting beyond 11pm is paid in addition)

  • Flights: covered if doing full season or 6 weeks, nanny to cover if doing 4 weeks

  • Salaried / hourly: paid monthly 

  • Positions:

    • Option 1: 90 days in Corfu (or more days with EU passport); June - August OR July - September

    • Option 2: 6 weeks in Corfu; July & August

    • Option 3: 4 weeks in Corfu; 4 consecutive weeks between 15 June and 15 September

  • Number of positions available: 6


Based in the beautiful island of Corfu, Ionian Nannies are looking for 6 Freckles trained nannies to join them for Summer 2024. With 3 different options from 4 weeks to 90 days, there is an option for every nanny.

Elena, trained with Freckles in December 2022, spent her summer with Ionian Nannies in 2023 and is returning for 2024 as their Head Nanny!

Some weeks you work in Corfu, others you’re based in villas around the Greek Islands and other times your spedning a week or two on a super yacht - it truly is an incredible way to work, see the world and gain experience.

Requirements:

  • You must complete the Freckles Childcare Junior Nanny Course

  • Job offers are:

    • offered outright (if you have already trained) 

    • or in advance and are conditional to you passing the Junior Nanny Course with a grade merit or higher

  • A can do, energetic and team player attitude is essential
