What I would give to go back to Camp Bestival 2019. Friends, family, nannies, kids, clients, babies, laughter, sunshine, food, teddies, toys, bubbles, flags, music, dancing, sparkles - SO MANY GREAT THINGS 🙌

We can't go back. We only have today. 

It's week 11 and lesson 11 of the #MakeYourBedChallenge and it's all about MAKING TODAY COUNT 👊

In June 2019 (not long before Camp Bestival) I had a breakdown. I was utterly exhausted and the daily grind of work was real. It felt so hard, so unenjoyable and SO FREAKING tough. Something had to change. 

In this weeks lesson, I share the two exercises that I did back in June 2019. They are: Rate Your Day & Your Dream Day and the Rate Your Day activity fundamentally changed my life. It changed the direction of the business and it changed the strength with which I showed up for each day. 

I've said it throughout this challenge, I'll say it today and I'll say it for the rest of eternity.

"It's your life, you are in control and you always have a choice. And whilst you cannot control what happens to you BUT you can always control your reaction.”

We only get today. Make it count.

This Weeks Challenges

 

Challenge 1: Rate Your Day

This is the exercise that changed my life. 

  1. Take your average day or week and write down all the things that you do (you can bracket them up if you need).

  2. Allocate a % of time to each thing you do. Ideally the %'s need to add up to 100%. The key with this is that it's NOT how much time they ACTUALLY take up but how much time it FEELS like it takes up. There is a difference. 

  3. Rate all the things you do from the thing you love the most to the thing you love the least.

  4. Experience the epiphany of seeing that you (probably) spend most of your time doing things that you like least and least of your time do things you like most...

Challenge 2: Your Dream Day

Flip the first exercise on its head.

Write down you dream day.

Be audacious, brave and bold. 

I then want you to identify a couple of those things from your dream day that you can start bringing into your life right now.

Make today count and start living elements of your dream life right now.
